1. Three phenomena in the natural world that exhibit continious change are:

• The growth of a tree: This can be captured through different photographs.
• The growth of a person: This can also be captured by different photographs at different stages in life.
• The change of seasons: This could also be documented by photographs by taking pictures everyday, which will show the change in season.

2. The sampling rate of 44.1 kHz is adequate to reproduce music to a cd because in order to reproduce analog signal, one must sample it twice the frequency that a human can hear. We can hear sounds from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, because of this 44.1 kHz is about twice that frequency.
